Traditional Mate Gourd, handmade in Argentina. Each gourd is hand carved, therefore may have unique features that differentiate one from another.
How to cure your Mate Gourd:

Fill your gourd with used, wet yerba mate. Allow your gourd to sit with the leaves for 24 hours. It's crucial to keep the leaves wet while it is being cured.

After 24 hours remove the yerba with a spoon and lightly scrape the interior of your gourd.

Repeat steps 1 and 2.

Rinse your gourd and allow it to dry.
*Do not soak your mate gourd in water for extended periods of time.
